# Out of memory error

> Diagnose and resolve an out-of-memory alert in RisingWave Cloud.

This alert indicates that a RisingWave container in your project was terminated because it exceeded the available memory.

## Common triggers

* Large backfill operations.
* Sudden spikes in workload.

## Resolution
